I grew up in Katy and attended elementary, middle and high school in Katy ISD, so it is always bittersweet to get to teach in the district that I have always loved. I graduated from Texas State University with an Elementary Education degree. In my free time I love to bake, shop, and travel. I look forward to a wonderful and fun school year with y'all!

Hi! My name is Amanda Alston, and I am thrilled to teach 4th grade Math and Science again this year. I was born and raised in Katy, Texas, and graduated from Katy High School. I then earned my degree from the University of Houston-Victoria, marking this as my 11th year in teaching. My husband and I have four wonderful children. Our three oldest—Tristan, Audrey, and Ardian—are all high school graduates, and Mikey is a junior high student at Tays. I love spending time with my family and our English Bulldog Rocky, as well as cooking out and enjoying the outdoors. I am excited to embark on this journey with all of you this year!
This is my third year at Davidson Elementary! I'm on my way to becoming a school counselor and I'm so excited to continue teaching English Language Arts. I love reading and hope I can instill that same love of reading with our dragons! I'm eager to start the new school year and feel honored to get to know every child that joins our community.
