Davidson Dynamics

Our Davidson Dynamics is a non-auditioned school choir made up of 4th and 5th graders, and sign-up is open to all 4th and 5th grade students who desire to improve their singing and musical skills.
During choir rehearsals, students will expand on the learning that takes place in music class.
In addition to expanded music skills learned, choir students learn the importance of working in a group, being part of a team, honoring commitment, the satisfaction that comes from working hard to achieve a common goal, performance skills, and much, much more.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesday and Thursday mornings before school from 7:30 – 8:15. Transportation is not provided, so parents will need to arrange for transportation to choir. Car pools are encouraged!
Throughout the year, choir students participate in 2 formal concerts, one each semester. Choir students typically have other performance opportunities throughout the year, including but not limited to: singing the National Anthem at a high school football game, combined concert with other elementary, jr high, and high school choirs, delivering sing-a-grams throughout the school, performing during the Veteran’s Day celebration and the Volunteer Appreciation event. Other opportunities may arise throughout the year. Choir is an active group, and we look forward to the many performance opportunities that arise.
Many of our choir students continue their musical studies throughout jr high and high school, with many of those students being accepted into auditioned region and state ensembles. We even have Davidson Dynamics alumni that move on to study music at the university level!
